Learning isn’t one-size-fits-all at ABHS. Students are encouraged to follow their hearts, nurture their curiosity and discover answers in unexpected places. And life here is so much more than sitting behind a desk in a classroom. Our hands-on projects and exciting extracurriculars and events help strengthen our tight-knit community and ignite lifelong connections.
At Amy Biehl, we pride ourselves on the safe place we’ve built together. Here, we celebrate diversity, unique perspectives, and selfhood. Here, everyone belongs.
Students are encouraged to explore new interests and follow their passions. Enrichment at Amy Biehl High School includes diverse elective and intervention courses designed to deepen student engagement and support academic growth. Elective offerings allow students to explore personal interests, develop creativity, and connect learning to real-world experiences, while intervention and credit recovery courses provide targeted support in areas such as reading and math. Together, these opportunities help ensure students remain motivated, supported, and on track for graduation.
ABHS also offers a variety of after-school clubs initiated and led by students, including Gaming Club, Skate Club, Gender & Sexuality Alliance (GSA), Bible Club, Theater, Improv, and Student Council. These clubs foster leadership, imagination, and a strong sense of community. Additionally, ABHS provides free after-school tutoring twice per week, giving students access to extra academic support from ABHS teachers.
