Amy Biehl High School takes a whole-child approach to education that balances academic rigor with strong social and emotional support. The school’s innovative curriculum intentionally combines scholarship and service, helping students develop critical thinking skills while applying their learning in meaningful, real-world contexts. Our integrated approach prepares graduates not only for college and careers, but for active, ethical citizenship.
Through a rigorous dual-credit program, our first generation students have the opportunity to earn college credentials as early as their sophomore year.
Real-world service learning provides a unique and deeply impactful learning experience while helping the communities in which we live.
All ABHS students complete at least two dual credit courses to graduate, earning both high school and college credit. Course selection is based on student interest and academic readiness, and many students choose to take more than the minimum requirement.
ABHS is also a designated Early College High School. Students who choose to participate in the academy model complete a minimum of four dual credit courses beginning as early as the second semester of their freshman year. Early College students work closely with advisors to create personalized schedules that may include general education, career-focused, and technical courses.
