Giving

Amy Biehl offers a tuition free education that prepares students to become civic-minded scholars. The unique Amy Biehl experience - two college courses while still in high school, personalized instruction, outstanding faculty, and curriculum rooted in service of the common good, —require significant resources.

Today, the annual cost per student is $6,600, of which New Mexico state pays $5,600.  The $1000 per student difference is raised from other grants and corporate and individual gifts.

  • 98% of graduates are admitted to college
  • Over 80% of graduates are still enrolled in college or graduated.
  • Our Seniors outperform their college freshman classmates! GPA of 3.3 vs 2.9

Supporting Amy Biehl is a community-wide effort. To reach our overall goals, we invite parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, staff, teachers, corporations, foundations, and other friends to invest in our school.

2010-2011 Goals

Our goal this year is to raise $150,000 for:

  • Academic after school programs for students including Saturday Breakfast Club, Interim School and Daily After School Tutoring
  • Food for after school programs
  • Professional development for teachers
  • Data Tracking of students and graduates

We have already raised $89,112.50 towards our goal!
