Throughout history countless events, both minor and major occur. Some events are so important that they are considered turning points, where the course of the world is changed forever. In the Amy Biehl High School (ABHS) humanities curriculum our student-scholars study these turning points.
At the end of the third quarter, ABHS juniors select a turning point that interests them, research it in depth and then create a live presentation which they share with peers, staff and community members. Along with other events like Social Action Carnival, Science Fair and the recently completed trial of Lt. Calley ABHS students participate in several public presentation, meeting one of our graduation requirements.
Here are a few of the scholars from Thomas’s class giving the Turning Point presentations.
