Amy Biehl High School recently participated in a Facing History Innovative School Network Study based on assessing National School Clearinghouse (NSC) data. NSC gathers data from high schools all across the country assessing high school graduates enrollment and persistence in college. Our school outperformed both urban schools with similar demographics (52% economically disadvantaged, 67% minority, over 30% first generation college) as well as suburban schools with more affluent student populations. 92% of our 2016 graduating class are currently attending college and the NSC data reported that 86% of these students will still be enrolled after two years. In conclusion, the report states that ABHS is closing the achievement gap!
